I like to think that I’m a challenger by nature: eager to get to the bottom of things, understand how they work, find loopholes in reasonings, try the new instead of sleeping on the old.
My studies in bioengineering and electrical engineering made me understand a broad range of problems, opportunities, technologies and business logics. But I never quite followed the expected path in my professional career. I was always more attracted by the unknown than by the problems I was expected to solve.
Starting with 3 years of research on the nexus between water and energy at Polytechnic University of Madrid and Complutense University, I later fulfilled a passion for energy technologies at the Repsol Technology Centre for 5 years. I challenged them with new business models such as energy services or mobility as a service, and new technologies such as decentralised energy generation, consumption and monitoring.
In late 2015 I discovered blockchain technologies and could never stop reading about it. For me it has been a Pandora’s box that will last a long time before I can get to the bottom of it. Wiser and brighter people came into my life and made me see the world differently. I could get involved with ongoing projects and started new ones that will soon be part of my new reality.
